New Indian school to open in September
The Rajagiri Public School, Doha has received the approval from the Supreme Education Council (SEC) to begin its academic session from September this year, a statement issued by the school yesterday said.
The new school will follow the Indian curriculum of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school plans to start with the kindergarten and primary classes including Year1 and Year 2 for the next academic year.
Academically managed by the Indian educational management group ‘Rajagiri’, the school is located near the Al Khebra Driving School in Abu Hamour.
As an internationally renowned Indian educational management group, Rajagiri has over 150 years’ experience in secondary and higher education. Rajagiri currently runs an Indian school in Dubai and it also runs several educational institutions in Kerala. The new school is expected to offer quality education primarily for Indian students in Qatar.
