Emir, PM send Independence Day greetings

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables of congratulations to the president of Belarus on the anniversary of his country’s Independence Day.

Minister receives outgoing US ambassador

HE the Minister of Justice Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr al-Mohannadi met the outgoing US Ambassador to Qatar Susan Laila Ziadeh in Doha yesterday.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between Qatar and the United States .

HE al-Mohannadi wished the ambassador success in her future posts and hoped for more development and growth to relations between Qatar and the US.

Attorney General meets head of anti-graft body

HE the Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri met Ye Feng, secretary general of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA), currently on a visit to Doha.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on issues of mutual concern.

West Bay health centre to be closed today

The Primary Health Care Corporation ( PHCC) has announced that the West Bay Health Centre will be closed today for maintenance. PHCC has advised patients who regularly go to West Bay Health Centre  to visit either Madinat Khalif Health Centre, Al-Muntaza Health Centre or Omar Bin Kattab Health Centre. The West Bay Health Centre will be operational from tomorrow.
