Ashghal announces traffic diversion in Industrial Area

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a traffic diversion on the West Industrial Street, in the direction from Roundabout 15 towards Roundabout 10, starting on Saturday (July 5).

The diversion will continue until the completion of the permanent road. The other direction of the street was widened to become a two-way street as per the attached map. This is to allow traffic to flow in both directions without any interruption during the ongoing works. This is part of the first phase of the Roads and Infrastructure in Doha Industrial Area project undertaken by Ashghal. The project aims to increase the capacity of roads and to support the traffic flow in the area; in addition to provide integral infrastructure to the area. Ashghal has apologised for any inconvenience and urged all road users to abide by speed limits and traffic signs to ensure their safety.
