As part of a strategic partnership between Barwa Real Estate and Qatar Shell, a delegation from Barwa and Shell has visited the Barwa Al Khor-Shell project site. |
Barwa Group acting CEO Ahmad Abdulla al-Abdulla and Qatar Shell deputy general manager Sheikh Thani bin Thamer al-Thani headed the delegation from the two companies, along with members of the Shell management team.
The visit included a presentation about the progress made on the project as well as a tour of the site.
The delegation expressed satisfaction at the accuracy and speed achieved while implementing the project in accordance with the designs submitted and approved.
Al-Abdulla said the project aims to serve the employees of Shell, a company that has had a great impact on the economic development of Qatar. He extended gratitude to the project team and a special thanks to Qatar Project Management Company for their high-quality work throughout the three phases of the project.
Barwa Al Khor-Shell is a residential project spread over 138,000sq m in Al Khor. It includes 300 apartments across 15 buildings (G+4), each consisting of three rooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms, in addition to 50 villas (G+1).
The project features a number of services, including centralised gas, district cooling and a sewage treatment system. It also offers playgrounds, green spaces, a mosque, daycare, a supermarket and a fitness centre, 656 parking lots as well as CCTV cameras and a security system for ensuring a safe environment.
The project is located in the north of Al Khor, close to Ras Laffan. It is considered one of the few residential compounds that enjoy private access to the beach.
