QES hopes to hold an international event in Qatar in a bid to further raise the level of skills of local players by competing with other foreign players.
Aaron Borleo, one of the organisers, said that these competitions help motivate and inspire enthusiasts practice, excel and pursue their passion.
“Every time we have events like this, we see new talents and meet new skaters and BMX riders,” he said, noting that their members have been increasing in the past months.
The group also hopes to have a permanent place to practice and hold similar competitions in the future.
Borleo described skateboarding and BMX as unique extreme sports performed artistically by passionate individuals seeking exceptional thrill.
Other winners for the skateboarding competition included Kamel Zara (highest ollie and best trick), Karim Demane (Game of SKATE), and Aaron Correa (Best Grind).
