Qatar football legends Mubarak Anbar, the former captain of Al Sadd Sports Club and the Qatar National Team, and Mohamed Deham, one of Qatar’s and Al Arabi Sport Club’s most lauded defenders, yesterday interacted with the 22 youths who are being taken to Brazil to witness their first finals at the 2014 FIFA World Cup by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC). The 10-day visit to experience the tournament first-hand is part of the SC’s ‘Generation Amazing’ programme. The youths from Qatar, Jordan, Pakistan, and Nepal will look to become sporting leaders in their communities following their experiences in Brazil. PICTURE: Mamdouh
