Wedding exhibition to open June 18

The seventh International Wedding Exhibition & Fashion Show Doha (IWed) will be held at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from June 18 to 21.

Renowned Lebanese designer Fadi Nahle will be the IWed 2014 guest of honour and also showcase exquisite pieces during a VIP fashion show.

The organisers, Qatar Expo, aim to stage a high-profile, “A-list” luxury wedding exhibition through IWed 2014, giving exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products, services and expertise.

Held with support from the Qatar Tourism Authority, IWed is a prominent wedding expo that encourages business growth for clients and features exhibitors from Qatar, Italy, Greece, the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Bahrain, India and Egypt.

“This event should not be missed as it has a lot to offer in terms of surprises, excitement, alluring moments such as premier fashion shows and entertainment,” said Hadi Ali, CEO of Qatar Expo.

Nahle’s works feature a harmony of colour, innovative styles and modern elements, particularly when it comes to wedding dresses and eveningwear. A master of both Oriental and European lines, the designer will showcase his collection on the inaugural day of the exhibition and a private VIP fashion show for distinguished guests and exhibitors.

Qatar Expo has expressed gratitude to the exhibitors and guests. Registration to the exhibition is free.
