Barwa to launch sale of Dara units

Barwa Real Estate will today launch its participation in Cityscape Qatar 2014 with a number of distinctive investment opportunities, beginning with the sale of Dara units on the first day of the exhibition from 12.30pm.This will take place in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports HE Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali, who is also the Barwa chairman, and Ahmad Abdulla al-Abdulla, acting Group CEO of Barwa Real Estate. Information about the Dara project, located in the north of the Fox Hills area in Lusail City, and its design will be revealed on the occasion. Barwa had launched the Dara concept last year during the same event, generating interest among a number of investors back then. Al-Abdulla said: “We dedicate our efforts at the moment to supporting our distinguished real estate and investment projects, which include the start of selling and leasing units as part of Dara and Barwa Al Baraha, among other opportunities that will be released throughout the year.“Barwa’s achievements of last year and its success in maximising its profit and return on shares reflect the group’s capacity to achieve objectives and overcome obstacles. We will continue providing real estate integrated solutions for our clients and best share returns for our shareholders”. Barwa will display models of the Dara project during Cityscape Qatar. It also commits to completing the project within three years, the timeline for project completion, to make it an integrated multi-use development, extending over 147,401sqm and offering more than 1,000 residential units spread across 56 buildings. There will be one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom and penthouse duplex units. Barwa will also display the units of Barwa Al Baraha for leasing. Upon completion, Barwa Al Baraha will offer a total of 9,872 rooms as accommodation for 53,000 workers. Barwa subsidiaries will also take part in Cityscape this year. Waseef, which provides property management services for Barwa, will handle the sales and leasing activities of Barwa projects, including Dara, Barwa Al Baraha and Barwa Commercial Avenue, among others. Tanween and Qatar Project Management will participate as well.
