Qatar Petroleum gives loyalty awards to 771 employees
Qatar Petroleum (QP) has recognised 771 employees who have served the corporation for the past 10 to 15 years during the annual Continuous Service Awards (CSA) ceremony held in Doha. |
During the event, QP gave recognition to 378 employees who have completed 15 years of service and 393 staff who have contributed 10 years of service with the corporation.
In his keynote address, QP director for Administration Ahmad Ali al-Mawlawi said the CSA is QP’s way of recognising employees’ “valuable” skills and knowledge in the day-to-day operations of the company.
He added, “QP recently launched its corporate vision, which is ‘to be a world-class oil and gas corporation with its roots in Qatar and a strong international presence’. All of us have an important role to play in realising this vision.”
Al-Mawlawi presented each honoree with a Certificate of Appreciation and a gift as a token of gratitude. The event was also attended by QP directors and managers, including the families and friends of the awardees.
The CSA was the second to be held this year following the previous awards held in May 6, which recognised 322 employees who have reached a milestone of between 20 and 35 years of service. In addition, 1,041 QP employees received certificates for rendering five years of service.
Organised by QP’s Public Relations and Communications Department in partnership with the Administration Directorate, the CSA also recognises employees’ contribution to QP’s continued growth and the development of Qatar’s oil and gas industry.
