Mozaic Go App brings new content direct to mobile devices
Ooredoo’s Mozaic Go App has become one of the company’s fastest-growing services as more and more people in Qatar change their viewing habits and use their mobile devices to watch films and television, the company has said in a statement. |
The service has seen significant success during its free trial period, with thousands of people across Qatar downloading the app to stream the latest movies and series, the statement said.
Mozaic Go enables customers to stream on-demand films and television from the Mozaic library wherever they are in Qatar. The service has benefited from a series of upgrades and updates based on customer feedback from the three-month trial period.
Following the upgrades, the app is now compatible with iPad, iPhone and Android OS 4.3 devices to make sure that the service is accessible to as many customers as possible.
To deliver content to both English- and Arabic-speaking audiences, the Mozaic Go App now supports multiple audio tracks so that programmes can be viewed in multiple languages when available.
Customers can also pause, resume, rewind, fast-forward and stop their content with the app, just like the Next Generation Mozaic set-top box. The app can remember the time that customers stopped watching their content and automatically resumes from this selected point and can be used with a Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G network.
Following the latest upgrade and the end of the trial period, customers now need to update their Mozaic Go App to the new version (1.3) and subscribe to Mozaic TV On Demand Clubs to continue enjoying access across the country.
Customers can enjoy the Disney Channel on Demand on the Mozaic TV Kids Package for QR35 per month, or the Disney Movies on Demand and ABC Studios Package for QR80 per month. These packages offer a wide range of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and ABC Studios’ “On Demand” films and television series.
Mozaic Go can be downloaded and installed in as many devices as needed per household, meaning that each member of the family can stream his/her favourite channels and can be used on up to three devices concurrently.
Customers can access the app now by downloading it from the Apple or Google App Store by searching for “Mozaic Go” and using their Mozaic TV account number to log in. This number can be found via the system information option on their Mozaic remote control.
