Labour Minister meets French ambassador

HE the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Dr Abdullah Saleh Mubarak al-Khulaifi held talks with French Ambassador to Qatar Jean-Christophe Peaucellel yesterday.  They discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them.

Qatar-UK defence ties discussed

HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Air Vice-Marshal Ghanim bin Shaheen al-Ghanim met Lieutenant Joe Greg Bagwell, Deputy Commander of operations in the United Kingdom.  Talks dealt with issues of mutual concern.  The meeting was attended by Lt Col Graeme Davis, Military Attache at the British embassy in Qatar.

Qatar attends Beatification

Qatar’s ambassador to Italy Abdullah bin Eid as-Sulaiti represented Qatar to the ceremony marking the beatification and the last stages of the process to elevate Pope John 23rd , who passed away in 1963, and Pope John Paul II who passed away in 2005.
