Jaidah Automotive announces sale of 50 cars to Jabrco
Jaidah Automotive, a fully-owned subsidiary of the Jaidah Group, yesterday announced the sale of 50 cars to Jabrco Rent a Car. It is the largest wholesale deal to date for the company in 2014. |
The deal, for 50 Chevrolet Sonic, was concluded in late March and is a repeat order for Jabrco. The Sonic is described as the first and only small car to receive a 5 Star Overall Vehicle Score for Safety in the US Government’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s New Car Assessment Programme.
Waleed al-Sayed, head of sales for Jaidah Automotive, said: “The Sonic is incredibly efficient, stylish designed and technologically advanced car. Rental customers are increasingly environmentally conscious, but do not want to compromise on safety, which makes the Sonic well suited to the market.”
Eyad Gabr al-Bourdini, general manager, Jabrco Rent a Car, remarked that the purchase is a key part of their growth strategy.
“The increase in our fleet takes us to a new level. We believe that the Sonic is the perfect match for savvy renters in Qatar, and the after-sales servicing that we get from Jaidah Automotive will ensure our vehicles enjoy the highest levels of performance and safety,” he added.
