PICNIC:

PICNIC: The Nepal Ekata Society (NES) recently organised a picnic at Samal Majara Garden in Doha. More than 200 people participated in the programme, which featured a number of cultural activities. The programme was chaired by Cham Pun, leader of NES. The programme started with a welcome speech by Amina Khan, secretary of Nepalese Women Association—Qatar and ended with a thank you note by Tuk Raj Sharma, acting president of NES. All participants wished a happy New Year to each other during the programme. The Nepalese New Year is on April 14.
