Carbon footprint focus in QPMC stakeholders meeting

Carbon footprint and operational challenges were the highlights of a stakeholders meeting recently organised by Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC) at the Movenpick Towers Hotel. During the annual meeting with stakeholders of the Gabbro Berth Terminal, QPMC underlined carbon footprint and challenges within the aggregate supply chain in a bid to solve problems besetting facilitation and handling process at the terminal. QPMC’s Gabbro Terminal manager Mike Powles said, “The meeting builds a stronger relationship with the relevant stakeholders.” He added that QPMC management will organise “more meetings of this kind to share information on a regular basis with its stakeholders, which would include delegates from MOE/MIC and QP.”
