Activists seek implementation of reproductive health law

Women activists march on the Philippine Supreme Court in Manila, ahead of International Women’s Day yesterday, to call for the implementation of a reproductive health law that would make contraceptives more available in the country. The law, passed in 2012, was suspended by the court in March 2013 following petitions from followers of the influential Roman Catholic Church which counts the majority of Filipinos as followers.
