Alfardan Automobiles hosts motocross
Alfardan Automobiles sponsored the opening round of the 2014 Motocross World Championship, held at the Losail International Circuit recently. This event occurred under the auspices of Alfardan Automobiles, the official importer for BMW Group, as Qatar hosted the annual tournament for the second time in a row. |
The race was the opening round of a series consisting of 18 races in the 58th season of this event.
The tournament extended over two days, the first beginning with a technical examination, a meeting with the race administration and organisers, training for qualifiers and the first race for the National MX category.
The second day included the second race for the National MC category as well as races for other groups.
Alfardan Automobiles, general manager Mohamed Kandeel said: “This championship is very important for the fans and followers of this sport internationally. We are pleased to be sponsors of this event in Qatar for the second time in a row, and the success we have seen until now contributes to the introduction and spread of the sport in the Middle East. We hope to see the crucial participation of Arab drivers in the coming season in 2015.”
During the tournament, Alfardan Automobiles displayed the BMW X5 and X6 models, as well as the BMW Motorrad and a number of BMW Lifestyle products in an area dedicated to a group of distinctive BMW models.
