UAE minister briefed on QP’s ongoing projects at ‘Offshore Arabia 2014’

The UAE Minister of Environment and Water  Dr Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad received a briefing on QP’s ongoing projects and expansion plans during the ‘8th Offshore Arabia 2014 Conference and Exhibition’, which runs from March 3 to 5 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The minister led the inauguration ceremony of the event, which was organised by the Regional Clean Sea Organisation (Recso), with the theme “Regional Oil Spill Prevention & Preparedness.” The event has attracted the participation of more than 40 companies from all over the world.

As a major exhibitor at Offshore Arabia 2014, QP has attracted a large number of delegates and visitors, many of whom have inquired about cooperation opportunities with the corporation as well as on QP’s current projects. “The event is providing the corporation the opportunity to introduce its activities and operations in the oil and gas industry,” QP officials said.
