Ooredoo gets 5-star rating for excellence
Ooredoo is also the only telecommunications company in the Middle East to be awarded a five-star accreditation rating for overall organisational excellence based on the EFQM Excellence Model.
Ooredoo has been awarded a five-star recognition by the EFQM for its “ongoing high performance” standards.
The award was presented to Ooredoo at a ceremony this month, following a rigorous review of business processes across the company.
Ooredoo earned the “Recognised for Excellence — 5 Star (R4E-5*)” award after a week-long assessment by a team of specially-trained and licensed assessors. After the review, Ooredoo was “marked as having achieved at the highest tier” of performance levels.
The recognition strengthens Ooredoo’s reputation for high operational standards, which has been built over the years, since the company’s first recognition for excellence certification in 2009.
Ooredoo is also the only telecommunications company in the Middle East to be awarded a five-star accreditation rating for overall organisational excellence based on the EFQM Excellence Model. Ooredoo Qatar CEO Sheikh Saud bin Nasser al-Thani said: “This is a fantastic achievement for us and is a direct result of the hard work and commitment of our staff. Our goal is to serve the people of Qatar to the very best of our ability, and this certificate demonstrates we are on the right track.”
EFQM assessment team said: “Ooredoo has developed strong and trusted relationships with their customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders. They have established an end-to-end service that truly delivers value to their customers, and a standard that deserves this certificate.”
Ooredoo Qatar chief operating officer Waleed Mohamed al-Sayed said: “This certificate is not just a reflection of Ooredoo’s professional conduct and high operational standards, but serves as a testimony to our commitment to offering the highest levels of quality in the services we provide for our customers.”
