Mowasalat has signed an agreement with Turkey’s IT solutions company Kentkart for providing technological support to its public transport operations. |
The new joint venture will be responsible for creating new market opportunities, analysing, commissioning, implementing and operating project in the field of intelligent transport systems, providing technical support and maintenance for customers.
Mowasalat will acquire the facilities, infrastructure and other resources for the establishment of the joint venture.
Kentkart will implement, maintain and commission intelligent solution systems for public transport vehicles, including hardware, software and other systems. The Turkish company will provide technical support and training for the staff of Mowasalat and the joint venture.
The agreement would enable Kentkart to provide bus passenger information, ticketing solutions, support, operation technologies and standards through using multi-use cards and limited-use cards to Mowasalat.
