Nepalese contribution acknowledged

The Al Arabi Sports Club recently honoured Non-Resident Nepalese Association’s (NRNA) National Coordination Board and various other personalities from the Nepalese and Indian communities for their contributions to the club at a special programme.     

Abdullah Mohammad al-Nama, chairperson of sports development and market supervisor of Al Arabi Sports Club, was the chief guest. Nepalese and Indian nationals, officials of Embassy of Nepal in Qatar and NRNA-Qatar were honoured for their efforts in developing and promoting the club.

Al-Nama acknowledged the contribution made by Nepalese communities in sports in his speech.

Sagar Nepal, leader of NRNA-Qatar, and Maksod Alam, chairperson of NRNA’s National Coordination Board, thanked Al Arabi Sports Club for collaborating with the Nepalese community in Qatar to promote sports.   

Maksod Alam, chairperson of NRNA-Qatar; Sagar Nepal; Ramazan Ali Miya, legal advisor of the society; Narayan Ranabhat; Ramu Basyal; Tuk Raj Aryal; Gopa Sunar; Kumar Karki; Binod Bhattarai; and Dil Kiran Khujum were given certificates of honour on the occasion. — Usha Wagle Gautam
