Ooredoo reduces price for Business Messaging Service

BMS is a mobile marketing tool that allows companies to send bulk messages to mobile devices and smartphones. Companies can contact large groups of people using the service, and personalise group messages with its adaptable Mail Merge functionality.

In November 2013, Ooredoo launched a price reduction of local messages sent on the service, offering rates as low as QR0.08 per SMS.

Now, with the new upgrade from Ooredoo, businesses can send international SMS for as little as QR0.20 per SMS.

Ooredoo has also added new features, so that companies can use Ooredoo Business Messaging to send links within an SMS to recipient’s smartphones, and use special “flashing” SMS that appear instantly on the targeted device.

The Business Messaging platform can be integrated into a client’s internal systems to accept any kind of data as input from Web, API, SMPP, Firefox, IE, Lotus and Outlook.
