Women devotees eye world record

Hindu women devotees pray as they prepare rice porridge around the Attukal Bhagavathi Temple during the Pongala festival in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala yesterday. More than 4mn women participated in the festival as they attempted a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of women at a festival in the world.
