Qatari embassies celebrate National Sport Day

Embassies of the State of Qatar worldwide organised several sports activities to celebrate Qatar’s National Sport Day.

Qatar’s embassy in Seoul organised many sports activities with participation of the GCC ambassadors, Arab diplomats and all staff members.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s embassy in Vietnam also celebrated the National Sport Day by holding several sports activities.

Qatar’s Ambassador Mohamed bin Jaber al-Sulaiti praised the important event, saying that the State of Qatar exerted every effort to build a prosperous society.

Qatar’s embassy in Oman also marked the National Sport Day with the participation of Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohamed al-Khater who took part in a march inside the embassy compound.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s embassy in Australia organised several sports events to mark the National Sports Day with participation of Ambassador Yousef al-Khater. The activities included games with one of the Australian sports teams and some Australian citizens who participated in the celebration.

The ambassador said that celebrating sports reflects the vision and cultural awareness of the wise leadership of the State of Qatar.

Qatar’s embassy in Georgia also held a celebration to mark the National Sport Day with participation of the embassy’s staff, the diplomatic corps and the ministry of foreign affairs of Georgia. 

As part of celebrations marking National Sport Day, Qatar’s embassy in Kuala Lumpur organised a sport event which was attended by 130 persons from the Malaysian ministries of foreign affairs and youth and sport as well as all Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to Kuala Lumpur. 

The activities, held in one of the sports centres in Kuala Lumpur, featured a number of recreational games.

The Qatari embassy in Singapore also organised sport activities in a local hall with the participation of the embassy staff.

Qatar’s embassy in Seoul organised sports activities with the participation of GCC ambassadors, some Arab diplomats and the embassy staff. 

The activities featured many sport activities including football, basketball, volleyball and badminton.

Similar activities were held by Qatar’s embassies in several cities across the world including Riyadh,  Dubai, New Delhi, Los Angeles, Beijing  and Tokyo.
