Qatar Fuel Additives Company Limited (Qafac) organised a series of activities for its employees and their families on the occasion of National Sport Day. |
The company held its outdoor sports day at Jassim bin Hamad High School, where all the staff members met their families in a day full of sporting activities and kids’ competitions such as football, volleyball, basketball and other games.
Nasser Jeham al-Kuwari, general manager of Qafac, said: “At Qafac, we place a strong emphasis on social activities; therefore, we are always keen to sponsor various sports activities and tournaments. We have established a sports committee that runs various activities for our employees.”
Khalifa Saif al-Sowaidi, administration manager at Qafac, said: “Emiri Decree No. 80 of 2011 urges all companies to promote sports awareness by conducting sporting activities for the staff members and their families. This reflects on the overall health of the individual and the society. Sport Day highlights the importance of exercising on a daily basis. Qafac constantly sponsors sports tournaments to promote the concept of sports and a healthy lifestyle.”
