Ideal Indian School yesterday announced the appointment of Syed Shoukath Ali as the principal.Ali, who has teaching and administrative experience of more than 15 years, also served as principal in reputable schools and colleges in Bengaluru, India. A Postgraduate and Master of Philosophy in the field of Biology (Zoology), he secured a gold medal in Animal Physiology & Biochemistry, and conducted research in “Effect of heavy metal pollution on major carps.”He was secretary of PU Colleges Principal’s Association Bangalore North. The governor of Karnataka nominated him as an educational expert in grant – in – aid committee for a Central Sponsored Scheme for providing quality education in madrasas.Ali planned the curriculum and inter-curriculum strategy defining academic and non-academic objectives for schools, conducted seminars and instructional supervision and evaluation modules for schools. He has also worked as course director of T.I.M.E Bangalore for medical and engineering courses, and as senior general manager in Vista Mind.IIS president Hassan Kunhi welcomed the new principal on behalf of the school.
