Starting today (November 1), Baraem TV, a subsidiary of Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC), will through Baraem Europe reach more audiences in Central Europe at suitable viewing times. Baraem TV is the first dedicated free to air pre-school channel for Arab children providing preschoolers with quality content to assist them in their discovery and developing process in the formative years. As all shows are presently telecast at Makkah time, young audiences in central Europe have not reaped benefits from the shows owing to time differences. The same Baraem shows will now be telecast hours after Makkah time to appear at the ‘right’ time for the audiences in Europe, through the same official satellite frequency. Saad al-Hudaifi, acting channels director said: “With this new feed, we will continue to inspire our audiences now at times best suited for them in North Africa and Europe as we do for our audiences in Doha and Saudi Arabia.”
