Doha Bank opens Al Mirqab branch

Doha Bank has opened its new Al Mirqab branch, located in the neighbouring Al Mirqab Complex at Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street, to meet the capacity requirements in one of the bank’s busiest branch areas.The new branch will serve both corporate and retail banking customers, offering a full range of banking solutions including account services, financial solutions and corporate banking services.The branch is open to customers throughout the week and in the evenings as well. The timings are: Sunday to Thursday 7:30am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm; Saturday 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm; Friday 4pm - 7pm.Ahmed Abdul Rahman Yousuf Obaidan Fakhroo, vice chairman, Doha Bank, attended the inauguration along with Doha Bank Group chief executive officer R Seetharaman and other senior bank officials as well as invited guests.“Based on customer feedback, when planning this new branch, we have ensured that Al Mirqab branch has a full range of Al Riyada premium banking services and products which entail savings programmes and bespoke financial and investment solutions, supported by specialised staff to cater to the bank’s most discerning customers,” Seetharaman said.“The new branch is larger than its predecessor and is equipped with the most modern amenities and services including more tellers and customer service staff for customers’ speedy service,” said Suresh Bajpai, head of retail banking.Covering two floors, the branch also has a dedicated ladies section on the upper level catering to their distinctive needs.Personal, vehicle or mortgage loans are available to customers at Al Mirqab branch, at the most competitive rates in Qatar, in addition to the selection of retail products and services, which include, Al Dana savings scheme, Dream free for life credit cards and e-remittance services to more than 14 countries.Al Mirqab branch is one of 31 local Doha Bank branches and is supported by 22 e-branches, more than 119 ATMs and two mobile banking units, which together make its network one of the largest in Qatar’s banking sector.
