Traffic diversions in Industrial Area

As part of the conversion of Al Watan roundabout to a three-level intersection (bridge, interchange and underpass), the Public Works Authority Ashghal announced the provision of a temporary large gyratory roundabout.This will be coupled with temporary traffic diversions on the Industrial Area’s Street 33, East Industrial Road, and Industrial Area Road starting from November 27 until the end of 2014. This will divert traffic from routes leading to Al Watan roundabout and coming from the Industrial Area’s Street 33, East Industrial Road, and Industrial Area Road to the routes highlighted in green on the map. Ashghal has confirmed that the construction works on Al Watan roundabout will not close or affect any of the streets that are in the project’s area, and that it has installed all diversions with traffic signs to ensure correct guidance to all road users.
