Impractical solution
Dear Sir,
In reference to the letter, “Importance of brain education” (Gulf Times, November 18), the idea it presents seems to be a sincere effort in creating a better society by developing wisdom. But will it work? As interesting and effective the idea may sound, the truth is that it’s just another impractical solution that will influence a very small part of the community at best.
Like all Utopian theories, “brain education” too will fail to create a significant impact because of the delicate balance in our world.
Moreover, the human nature is too unpredictable that it can’t be defined and manipulated by the current state of psychology, religion or philosophy. If the fancy idea can be made more practical that could be applied in real-life, it might work, however.

Water leakage
Dear Sir,
Two huge water tanks, placed near our building’s parking area, have been leaking for the last couple of days. The leaked water is trickling down the nearby road. Because of this, algae has formed on stretches of the road and people walking on them could slip and fall.
No one from our building is doing anything as they think the owner has to sort this problem out. Can Kahramaa do something please? Because of pools on the street, mosquitoes have started breeding. What can be done to solve this problem and who should be contacted? If any reader can suggest some solutions, they will be appreciated.
