Congo president visits Ras Laffan Industrial City

Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of Congo, visited Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLC) recently.He was accompanied by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry, Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada.Abdulaziz J al-Muftah, director, (Industrial Cities) at Qatar Petroleum (QP) and senior RLC officials welcomed the guests.Al-Muftah gave a presentation on RLC, focusing on its development and the expansion of projects and investments in the area. Nguesso and al-Sada went on an aerial tour of RLC’s facilities, industries and port. “I am particularly honoured to visit Ras Laffan Industrial City, where I found a facility, professionally and efficiently managed and staffed,” Nguesso wrote in the city’s guest book.
