Qatar Shell diamond sponsor of business women forum

Qatar Shell will be the diamond sponsor of the upcoming fourth annual Qatar International Business Women’s Forum (QIBWF). The event, organised by the Qatari Business Women Association (QBWA) in collaboration with Interactive Business Network (IBN), will be held at The St Regis Doha on November 11-12.Held under the patronage of the Minister of Economy and Trade HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani, the forum is expected to be the biggest ever with 900 participants from 25 countries. It will have “Arab business women: agents of change” as its theme.“Women across the Arab world are increasingly rising to positions of leadership across all professional fields: management, business, engineering and science. This change is increasingly prominent in the oil and gas industry, not least at Qatar Shell, where women are seizing the reins whether in our offices, research labs or on site at Pearl GTL,” said Wael Sawan, managing director and chairman, Qatar Shell.
