Queen Margaret II of Denmark met HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, President of the Climate Change Conference (COP18) and Chairman of Higher Committee of the Conference, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah yesterday at the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen. Al-Attiyah conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Queen of Denmark. The Queen of Denmark reciprocated the greetings of the Emir and the Heir Apparent. She thanked Qatar for its participation in the Global Green Growth Forum, 2012, currently under way in Denmark, wishing success to the Climate Change Conference (COP 18), due to be held in Doha in November. The meeting was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Denmark Hamad bin Ali al-Henzab. Al-Attiyah also met the Prime Minister of Denmark Helle Thorning-Schmidt yesterday.During the meeting they discussed relations between Qatar and Denmark and means of developing them and reviewed the latest preparations for the climate change conference. The meeting was attended by Qatar’s ambassador to Denmark and members of the delegation accompanying the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority.
