Hussein Amotta (pictured) insists his players haven’t been playing badly this season.
The current QSL champions have still to find top gear this campaign, sitting three points off top spot in fourth place.
Victory against Al Khor today could change all that, with the Moroccan determined to make sure his team get back to winning ways.
He said: “We haven’t had good results in the last two games.
“I was happy with the performance of the players against Al Gharafa but unfortunately we didn’t collect the three points. We must make sure we win against Al Khor to get back in the competition.
“We need to give absolutely everything we have for this game. We need three points.
“Despite our first two wins, I wasn’t too happy with the performances. Slowly we have recovered and played better, and yet we haven’t taken our chances to win the games.
“The most important thing for me is the players are motivated and happy. If we keep creating chances we will score goals. “
Al Khor coach Laszlo Boloni has still to taste victory this season. They have drawn six and lost out, a run which has left his side two points off the bottom in 12th spot.
Boloni said: “We’re playing the champions so of course it’s going to be a tough game. We’ve already played tough games against Lekhwiya and Gharafa, so we know how to handle these teams.
“We want to do better and hopefully we’re able to do this. We have drawn six games but we have been close to victory in these games.
“I am never happy when we don’t win but I won’t talk about individuals. We are a team and that’s all that matters. I won’t talk about strikers only.”
