Specialty chefs Raj Kumar Sarki and Pramod Kumar will lead the kitchen team for the Kebab Sutra festival.

Lifestyle Restaurant in Barwa Village will host a kebab and roti festival called Kebab Sutra from November 9 to 23. Along with a variety of both non-vegetarian and vegetarian kebabs, the menu also features Malabari Tikka, Trio Seekh Kebab, Meena Bazaar Seekh, Seafood Khazana and more.Amjath Kamarudheen, executive chef at the Lifestyle Restaurant group, said the aim of festival is to make their kebabs known to food lovers before the start of the winter months, when kebabs are more in demand. The “uniqueness” of Kebab Sutra, he said, lies in the fact that two kebab specialty chefs -Raj Kumar Sarki and Pramod Kumar, with a combined experience of more than 40 years in kebab- and roti-making - will lead the kitchen team. The festival also offers a variety of rotis (Indian bread), such as Lachha paratha, Missi roti, Kastha roti and Chudo naan, besides the traditional roti and naan. Kebab Sutra will be inaugurated by Indian Cultural Centre president Tarun Kumar Basu at 6pm on November 9. The festival will run during dinner between 6.30pm and 11.30pm.
