Flash mob in support of ‘She Taxis’

A flash mob was organised in front of a retail store in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala to drum up support for, and create awareness of ‘She Taxis.’ It is a project under which taxis will be operated by women exclusively for women. The project will be launched on November 20. It is an initiative of the state’s Department of Social Justice. The taxis are fitted with several security features and the fleet is managed by the Technopark-based Rain Concert Technologies. Maruti Suzuki is supplying the custom-made sedans.
