Emir discusses bilateral ties with UAE president

During the talks, the Emir reviewed with UAE’s president the existing relations between the two countries and ways of developing and promoting them in various fields. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan awarded the Emir the Zayed Merit. The session was attended by the members of the official delegation accompanying the Emir and on the UAE side, by UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Representative of the UAE President Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan and a number of Sheikhs and Ministers. Later yesterday the Emir left the United Arab Emirates ending a two-day state visit. The Emir and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Al Ain International Airport by Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan and a number of ministers.  Upon departure the Emir sent a cable expressing his thanks and appreciation to President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan for the hospitality and warm welcome he and the accompanying delegation received during their visit to the UAE, and wishing relations between the two countries further progress.The Emir returned to Doha at noon yesterday after concluding a Gulf tour which included Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and United Arab Emirates.
