Jaidah Automotive – a subsidiary of business conglomerate Jaidah Group, has appointed Mark Jenkins as its general manager, the company said yesterday.Jenkins, a British national, has 30 years’ experience in the automotive sector. He has worked in Saudi, Russia, and UK.Jenkins is a seasoned automotive professional who has worked in every facet of the industry from spare parts to aftersales, and sales and marketing. He has spent the last decade in leadership roles. Following two recent successful stints in Saudi Arabia, Jenkins has now returned to the Gulf to take up the senior position with Jaidah Automotive.“I’m very much looking forward to the challenge,” said Jenkins. “Qatar is undergoing great changes, and is becoming a very exciting and vibrant place, and the local automotive market reflects dynamism and optimism.
