SCH conducts workshop on tobacco survey data

The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has conducted a three-day workshop on the data collected from “Tobacco Survey in Qatar” in co-operation with the Ministry of Development Planning & Statistics, World Health Organisation Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean and US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. The survey was conducted in March and April and covered a sample of more than 8,000 Qatari families. More than 80 researchers took part in the process of collecting the data. The SCH is expected to release the findings of the survey before the end of this year. Pictured are participants at the SCH workshop.
