al khaliji takes part in Qatar University’s ‘Yahala’ orientation

Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) is participating in Qatar University (QU)’s Yahala Academic Orientation for new faculty.The Yahala orientation is a nine-day event, being held at QU’s Library Exhibition Hall until August 27, which welcomes new faculty and staff to the QU family and introduces them to the local business and academic community.“al khaliji is keen to lend support to the human and educational development of Qataris as a means of fulfilling the pillars of Qatar’s National Vision 2030,” said al khaliji’s Human Resources Group head Hamad al-Kubaisi. “al khaliji’s goal is to support Qatar’s vision of developing human capital by taking promising talent and offering them prosperous career opportunities so that they have the opportunity to become the leaders of our businesses in future and contribute to the community as productive individuals,”  al-Kubaisi further said. “We hope that by connecting to both newcomers and veterans at Qatar’s largest university, academics will reach out to al khaliji so that we can use our market expertise to further enhance their students’ educational experience,” he added.Yahala is designed to help new faculty members adapt to their new surroundings, connect with professors, staff and members of the business community and familiarise them with life on campus as well as Qatari culture and traditions.
