Holland’s Phraseur Kossack (Prince d’Orient-Pengalia Kossak) was a comfortable winner of the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club sponsored Qatar Near Challenge Cup in Dusseldorf, Germany on Sunday. The 1,700 metres contest for Pure Arabian four-years-old and over, carried a purse of Euros 20,000.The Huub Otermans owned and trained Phraseur Kossack was ridden to victory by jockey Jadey Pietrasiewicz. Senna took the second place ahead Paramour and Shrek, who completed the frame.QREC general manager Sami Jassim al-Boenain, who was present on the occasion, gave the prizes to the winners.
