Geant offers Casino brand to shoppers

This Ramadan, shoppers at Geant Hypermarket in Hyatt Plaza have access to exclusive Casino products that include grocery, textiles, household goods, IT accessories and cleaning items. “The Casino items are imported from France with highest possible standards and carefully sorted further upon arrival and stored to guarantee the best quality, in keeping with the Qatar government  health regulations,” says a hypermarket official. “For the convenience of customers, the imported Casino items are displayed in terms of category by the Geant staff,” he says. “We try to give enough visibility to Casino items, as requested by the customers because of their high quality, cheap prices and good packaging.” Though Casino products are primarily imported from France, some items are sourced from other parts of the world as well. “A lot of Qatari customers and expatriates like the French taste and trust Casino products. When they buy Casino, they are sure about the quality and taste. Every month, we try to introduce new items that have never existed in the local market,” the official added.Casino products are changed every three weeks and new items are brought in depending on the demand among local and expatriate shoppers.  The opening of the first Geant hypermarket in Qatar followed an agreement signed between Al Meera Consumer Goods Company and French retailer Casino to develop a network of hypermarkets and supermarkets under the Géant banner in select Middle East countries.
