Feroz-ud-Din Mir, a resident of Bijhama, Uri, who claims he is 141-year-old, holds a certificate in north Kashmir’s Baramulla, some 52kms north of Srinagar, yesterday. According to media reports, Mir has a government-issued certificate bearing signatures and an official seal of local officials justifying his claim that he was born March 10, 1872. Mir claims he has outlived four wives and his fifth spouse is 60 years junior to him.
