Traffic diversion near school zone

In order to complete remaining works related to the extension of Industrial Area Road, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will divert traffic from Mesaimeer Roundabout to Abu Hamour Roundabout from July 21 until the beginning of 2015. The works will include construction of a flyover that will connect the Mesaimeer area to Al Mamoura on Mesaimeer Road and networks for rain and potable water and treated sewerage effluent. During the construction period, commuters will be able to use the alterative road that connects Industrial Area Road to Wholesale Market Street as shown in the attached map.Ashghal has urged all road users to comply with the traffic signs that have been installed in the area to ensure smooth traffic flow.
