Authorities detained on Tuesday an Australian for reportedly stabbing and trying to “sexually molest” his neighbour in Batangas City, police reports said yesterday.
The reports said Paul Javens Harison, 56, from Sydney, and residing at Perlas Compound in Barangay Kumintang Ilaya, Batangas City, was arrested by the police after his neighbour filed a complaint against him on Tuesday. The victim told police that Harison entered her house while she was sleeping in the early hours of Tuesday and had groped her, waking her up, the reports said.
The reports said the woman tried to fight off Harison, who then stabbed her in the neck and punched her. But when the woman kicked, the Australian fled with his weapon.
