Colin Firth statue in lake

A giant Mr Darcy emerges dripping from the Serpentine, to the delight of park visitors enjoying themselves on the lake. The 12-foot statue, depicting Colin Firth’s memorable pond scene from the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, has been placed in Hyde Park to promote new TV channel Drama.
