Pakistani envoy hails ‘peaceful transition’

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Syed Hassan Raza has congratulated Qatar for its peaceful transition of power and congratulated HH the Emir and HH the Father Emir on the ‘positive’ development.

Addressing a group of journalists gathered at a reception hosted at his residence on Saturday night, the ambassador said the State of Qatar was moving in the right direction only because of the dynamic leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.

“Qatar over the years saw tremendous infrastructure development and showed the world its constructive role in resolving key issues in the region.”

The Pakistani envoy said he was sure that Qatar would continue with its development pace and carry on with its policy of making peace in complex conflicts.
