Qatar Charity (QC) has started summer programmes for this year.

Ibrahim al-Muhannadi, director, executive department of local development at QC, said that the programmes focus on developing the capabilities of students and enabling them to interact positively with the society alongside their families.

He added that a number of centres around the country have already started the implementation of programmes targeting different age groups of girls and boys. “Each centre has its particularly tailored programmes to meet the needs of the targeted category. Some activities would stop before Ramadan, while others would be open throughout the month,” he said.

The programmes are part of the community services of QC offered for the local society for a better and constructive use of summer holidays.
