QAC receives Mitsubishi’s ‘sales growth award’

Qatar Automobiles Company (QAC), the exclusive dealer of Mitsubishi Motors Corp and Mitsubishi FUSO, broke another sales record ranking first in terms of sales results in the Middle East and third globally for the fiscal year 2012. QAC received the coveted “Excellent Sales Growth Award” presented by Mitsubishi Motors Corp (MMC) president Osamu Masuko. The award presented on the basis of MMC’s evaluation of sales results achieved by overseas distributors. QAC has been evaluated as a winner in the volume category as per their selection criteria by means of the point mixture of sales volume such as increase volume and ratio over the previous fiscal year. According to MMC, QAC has been given the third rank, following South Africa and Kazakhstan in the same volume category, attesting to QAC’s steadfast commitment to sustain unmatched performance year-on-year. Ihab El Feky, general manager, QAC, said: “We are extremely honoured to receive this prestigious award which is a solid testament to our continued investments in our operations, human capital and overall sales platform. We had a superb year in Qatar marked with a series of success milestones owing to the relentless efforts of every single member of the team. Additionally, 2012-2013 has been a superb fiscal year internationally for Mitsubishi Motors which recently posted a whopping $1.8bn in net sales.” For the new fiscal year, MMC is forecasting global sales of 18% increase over 2012.
