Prime Minister visits Cityscape Qatar expo

HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani touring Cityscape Qatar 2013 yesterday.HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani visited yesterday Cityscape Qatar 2013, which features nearly 100 exhibitors from around the world.Received by Eissa al-Mohannadi, chairman, Qatar Tourism Authority, he toured the exhibition and was briefed on a number of real estate developments. HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim, the patron of the event, visited leading Qatari companies stands such as Ezdan Holding Group,  Qatari Diar,  Al Bandary Real Estate, Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development, Mall of Qatar  as well as  the winners of the Cityscape Awards for Real Estate in Qatar including Barwa Real Estate Group and United Development Company (UDC).Leading real estate industry professionals, consultants, VIPs and special guests gathered on Monday at the Four Seasons Hotel, Doha, to celebrate winning real estate developments at the second edition of the Cityscape Awards. The winners included Hamad Medical Corporation.Barwa Real Estate Group won the Commercial and Mixed Use Project Award for Barwa Commercial Avenue, Qatar’s newest and largest mixed-use destination that offers a self-sustaining and business-oriented lifestyle catering to entrepreneurs who expect contemporary elegant residences, efficient offices and convenient shopping options.UDC won the Residential Project Award and the Retail, Leisure & Tourism Project Award for The Pearl-Qatar. Hamad Medical Corporation won the Community & Culture Project Award for the Skilled Nursing Facility, a first in the Arab region and established to provide long-term nursing care, rehabilitation, and other services to patients in a more flexible and home-like setting.
