The Central Municipal Council (CMC) vice-chairman Eng Jassim al-Malki has paid a visit to Mawashi Company at the Central Market. He was accompanied by a number of CMC members. The inspection visit came in the course of making sure that all arrangement are already in place for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. Dr. Dafallah Abdulghani, acting director of slaughterhouses department at Mawashi, said that this year there will be three active slaughterhouses for the first time to ease congestion. The first one for meat shops, the second for the elderly and handicapped and the third for public.
